Welcome to the Alternative Book Club. We’re a book club crossed with a comedy night – which means you can join in and you don’t even have to commit to reading anything. We’ve been running since September 2018 at The Bottle of Sauce in Cheltenham, featuring talks from comedians and friends of the book club on almost every topic – from the Epic of Gilgamesh to Kim Kardashian’s Selfish.

During the current pandemic we’ve moved online, releasing fortnightly podcasts and special edition online shows. We hope to be back at The Bottle of Sauce when it is safe to do so.
